The hours are never posted properly the old man is rude! They never answer the phone this place closes and opens whenever they feel like it this is the worst establishment ever!First and last time!!!!!That is why I always go to the godmother soul!!!!!

Nice little dive. Food was pretty good, but they need to realize what decade they're in and start accepting credit cards. They also need to replace or re-upholster the nasty looking booth seating there.

Very good. Just disappointed today they didnt have ribs ready at 12. The ribs are the best hands down

Excellent fried chicken and friendly service. Our meal was cooked fresh to order and served with a smile. Green beans and mac and cheese were so good. We really enjoyed it and are glad we stopped. Thank you!

Great food, great value. If you order the Boss Platter, make sure you have someone to share it with. I couldn't finish it. The only thing I wasn't 100 percent happy with was the macaroni and cheese.

Waited over 45 minutes for food. When got the food it wasnt worth the wait. Only accept cash order at your own risk if you like bland food.

Excellent food. Well, I don't know if all their food is good because I'm addicted to their pork chop sandwiches. However, I do know that the pork chops they use for their sandwiches are huge.

Stopped for a late hold me over till dinner business lunch. One other customer seated at the time. Not overly friendly to see us it seemed. After our order many other 2-4 person groups started coming in and their orders taken at counter. Seemed to take a long time to get our sausage dogs, slaw and water. Good news is they were pretty good sausage dogs. Service and cleanliness could be better. Prices were very fair.

I ordered the fried chicken wing meal as well as a fish sandwich I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely amazing, they give a really nice size portion of food. I will be eating here again

Home cooking I've been living and passing this restaurant along time never saw it Now I have I'll be eating there more.

Just had lunch here. Best ribs I've had in a long time! Also good vegetables. Big portions. Would recommend it!

Really good pulled pork ! Okay average mac & cheese, & mustard based potato salad. Good portions decent prices. No complaints here

This place has good soul food but takes too long to get your food. Even if its called in, it still takes them over 20 minutes to have your order ready. They only accept cash & that's another reason why I don't eat there too often.

Food was great

I was totally disappointed with the bbq ribs. The meat was dry and tough and the sauce was more like a watered down catsup. I won't get that again. I have had the fish there and it is great.

Took a break from the Junior Olympics in between events! I googled restaurants near me, no one in the vehicle had no clue where we were going! The name itself sold me and being originally from Alabama the restaurant just happen to be on Bessemer Avenue (Bessemer Alabama near Birmingham) I made an EXECUTIVE DECISION! OMG what a decision, do not sleep on this place! The staff was super duper FRIENDLY, the menu and prices were GREAT!!! I had the the SPECIAL and SPECIAL it was for $4.99 I had 3 pieces of fish, hush puppies, cabbage and real macaroni & cheese! Before you leave Greensboro area please stop my this JEWEL!!! Don’t forget the SWEET TEA!!!

I could live off of their cabbage and Mac and cheese for the rest of my life and be fine with it
